Should Cathay's enemies dare approach, Iron Hail volleys can shred steel plate as if it were rice-paper.

The Iron Hail Gun is a heavy blunderbuss with a large bore for close in work. Though short ranged, it is ideally suited to defence, either in the close confines of a city or from the battlements of the Great Bastion. Cathayan commanders often deploy their Iron Hail Gunners on the flanks of their formations where they can discourage even heavily-armoured horsemen, the concentrated shot from their Iron Hail Guns able to punch through shields and plate at close range.
