Feral Manticore

These incarnations of Khaine strike fear in to all those who stand before them.

Dark Elves hold no creature in higher esteem than the Manticore, for they believe it to be one of the thousand incarnations of Khaine; daring Beastmasters venture as far north as the Chaos Wastes in search of young Manticores to sell at auction. Manticores can be tamed enough to take a rider, though they remain feral. Even if a steed occasionally ignores its rider's commands and pitches them into unfavourable fights, a Dark Elf considers this a minor risk compared to the fear and respect brought about by bringing a fearsome mount to the fray.
