Fury of Beihai
These elite soldiers are armed with long-range crossbows powerful enough to pierce armour.Archery takes years of training and immense upper-body strength to be able to draw back the string to the nocking point. Firing a crossbow needs the user to be taught only how to load a bolt and point it. Unlike notching an arrow, a crossbow bolt can be loaded easily, and once loaded, can be held until the user is ready to fire.
Despite its ease of use, the draw weight increases the bolts speed and power when released, meaning that less skilled troops can be armed but still prove deadly on the battlefield.
