Although these soldiers seek victory over death, they will run headlong into the jaws of destruction with little regard for their lives, in pursuit of the greater glory of their lord. These determined warriors are pushed by a manic zeal, which makes them more resistant to the strikes of their enemies.

Employed best against an enemy fortification or to spring from an ambush, these warriors are swift, deadly, and utterly uncompromising.

Unit Abilities

• Caltrops
  Simple nut husks, once trodden upon, cause extreme pain and slow movement.
• Smoke Screen
  Thick plumes of smoke obscure line of sight, making units seem temporarily invisible.
• Miasma
  The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.
• Do or Die
  Throwing away their armour, these troops charge forward without care for their own survival.
• Loose
  The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.

  Takes longer to feel fatigued.

  Can hide in forests.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  This unit excels at charging enemy frontlines, slaying all in their path.
• Good charge
  Incredible tenacity and a sharp weapon make this infantry unit strong whilst charging.
• Weak against missile attacks
  This unit is unshielded and therefore has little defence against missile attacks.
