Can any warrior stand against a charging elephant?

Some call the men of Bana Ravine barbarians, with their command of beasts and their love of the sorcerous arts; their master, King Mulu, is said to go to war on the back of a white elephant.

Opinions may differ on how civilised he and his bold folk are, but the opinion of outsiders means little when you are firing down on your foes from the back of an elephant, while the beast you control tramples the fleeing enemy underfoot.
