Chosen of Nurgle (Great Weapons)
Unwieldy weapons are favoured by Nurgle’s Chosen, for whom succumbing to injury is a lesser concern. The sane shrink from contagion in all its forms, but those who become favoured by the Plague Lord are far from sane. When one becomes Nurgle’s Chosen, His mark appears on the body as three circular lesions, typically weeping poisonous pus or infested with wriggling maggots. Despite this perceived displeasure, it is a blemish sought by and reserved for His most loyal servants. Most individuals develop a supernatural tolerance to pain, despite their festering flesh, allowing them to enjoy the slow degeneration without distraction. They also become inured to battle wounds, making it very difficult to slay them – some have to be chopped to pieces before they die.

Mark of Nurgle
A unit with the [[col:white]]Mark of Nurgle has:
Strengths & Weaknesses
- Armoured
Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage. - Armour-Piercing
The damage of armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets. - Poison Attacks
The [[img:ui/battle ui/ability_icons/wh_main_unit_contact_poison.png]]poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage.
