长矛兵

作为保护奥苏安的活城墙，高等精灵矛兵是阿苏尔民兵中最受赞誉的一支。当一个高等精灵开始他的军事训练时，他必须首先掌握刀法和弓法，之后他必须在一个穿着白色制服的弓箭兵团中待上十年，然后军官才会考虑将其纳入长矛兵的行伍，在奥苏安的最后防线上战斗。当一支长矛方阵出现在战场上时，它几乎是不可逾越的存在，每个人都会本能地知道他的战友的想法，每个人都在恪尽职守，仿佛自己是精心设计的计划的一部分。无需命令或手势，高等精灵矛兵便可在一瞬间互相掩护，而下一瞬间则可自由地涌向敌人防线的缺口。

优势与弱点

• 装备盾牌
  盾牌有一定概率挡住敌方的箭矢、弹丸、枪击以及类似的小型火力，但只有在正面朝向敌军时才能发挥效果
• 抵御冲锋（大型部队）
  当坚守阵地时，这支部队会无视敌方大型部队（骑兵或者巨兽）的冲锋加成
• 反大型部队
  反大型部队可以有效应对体积至少等同马匹的目标。这一特性会有很多具体表现形式，如面对大型目标时的伤害加成，或者可以集聚到很小一片区域的强力攻击等等。然而鉴于大型部队的攻击一般过于缓慢且容易在近战中闪避开，所以很多部队天生便可更有效地应对这些敌军
