A kind of an absolute elite, the bariouices" or "furious assaulters" are highly skilled attackers. They fight with heavy javelins and swords in the front line. Being front-line warriors, they are heavily protected with decorated armour, shields, and helmets."

Belgic peasants are thrown on the front line with clubs and axes, in order to break the enemy shieldwall, allowing other, better equipped units to exploit the breach. Such tasks require brute force, but also sheer courage, to be able to survive to the first assault, immediately followed by swordsmen and spearmen.

The Luosusios are demon-men, in fact fanatic warriors, who prepare for the battle with special inhalation or drinks. They traditionally fight naked and heavily tattooed. Their ferocious appearance and demeanor cause fear in the enemy, as Celtic psychological warfare has been integrated as a tactic in its own right.

The Kluddobro are young but skilled warriors, acting on the wings with other Excingoi (flank warriors). They have several tasks, but mostly to outflank the enemy center and then disrupt the enemy lines.

(Late Belgae Professional Warriors)

These Solduroi are no longer heavy spearmen, but swordsmen, according to the evolution of Gallic-Celtic warfare prior to Caesar's conquest. Their devotion is even more extreme than any links of clientelism. They are superbly skilled fighters, and protect their master to the death.

These swordsmen are older and very experienced, usually wearing a good quality helmet, and leather armour under their tunic. They are elite swordsmen, using heavy javelins and longswords for devastating attacks. They are effective for flanking attacks and supporting other troops in melee.

The Milnath (big men") are a warband of skilled and exceptionally physically fit swordsmen. Perfect line-breakers, they can also be described as young "champions," not wealthy enough to afford armour. They are tattooed and usually naked, their hair painted and coated with white cender to be more impressive."
