The Good, The Bad & The Gauls

Ah, the Gauls! Have you seen them yet? Ugly, loud and dirty, with barbaric minds, displaying the ignorant behaviour typical of uncivilised people. They are used by the other inhabitants of Italy and Magna Graecia as a measuring stick against which their own civilisations can be judged. Some say that the Gauls have sold their swords to the Syracusan Greeks and are now crossing Italy to do their bidding, others that the Gauls are only in it for the loot they can acquire along the way. We say that it doesn't really matter - they are just another inferior people. Our task is therefore to study them, learn their ways and outmatch them during every encounter.
