Sanctuary of Austro
Austro, bringer of spring and its wonder, is honoured by the wise.Austro's name is related to the Germanic words for 'shining' and 'east'. She was a goddess of springtime and new beginnings, and celebrated as the goddess of youth and purity. She was also connected to the pagan Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre; much of Austro's symbolism, such as eggs and hares, are still used in European Easter celebrations today. Austro was said to have lights carried by rabbits before her; she brought the dawn as a new beginning, and spring renewal after the dark of winter. It is easy to see why she was considered a joyous goddess.

Melee Infantry / Melee Infantry / (Ger_Elite_Assault_Infantry) Nokwlentoi (Night Fighters) The club is humankind's earliest weapon and throughout history warriors have taken great pride in facing a well-armed enemy with only the most primitive weapons. With such a weapon at hand, the Nokwlentoi strip down to their breeches, gather in the pitch-black of night and prepare to fight as a ghastly horde of demons: a tactic devised to incite great fear in their enemies. |
