Due to the tribal practice of making votive offerings to gods of rivers and waterways, many bronze artefacts have been discovered at the bottom of lakes and rivers all over Europe. The River Thames in London, England must have held particular significance to the local tribes as a number of bronze work pieces have been discovered on the bottom over the years. The Waterloo Helmet, a ceremonial piece with two horns, was discovered in 1868, and the Wandsworth and Battersea shields were also recovered from the river and now reside in the British Museum. Like the helmet, the Battersea Shield is thought to be a ceremonial piece as there is no evidence of damage and no sign that it was ever attached to a wooden base, which would have given it the strength it required to be battle ready.

Their bravery is unquestionable, and their skill at arms is superb. They are armed and outfitted with the best equipment available. Also, they are charged with defending the Great Gallic Council" where Celts try to solve their internal grievances diplomatically: a job they do with great severity and pride."

6	300	Melee Infantry / Spear Infantry / (Cel_Gaeroas) Gaeroas (Celtic Spearmen) Gaeroas are the rank-and-file warriors of the tribes of Gaul and Britain. They utilize well-made longspears, and a few decent javelins, making them both fair melee warriors and impromptu skirmishers. They have some combat experience, but are not yet battle-hardened. While not armoured, they have large oval shields which provide good protection. They are fairly well trained and their shields provide a fair amount of protection from ranged attacks, but their lack of armour makes them quite vulnerable to attacks from the flank or rear.

7	200	Melee Infantry / Melee Infantry / (Cel_Gaesatae) Gaesatae (Naked Spear Throwers) The Gaesatae are easily some of the most fearsome groups of warriors in the known world. They fight stripped bare but for neck torcs and sometimes shoes or boots. They fight with longswords, but are named for their incredible skill with javelins; they can hurl them unnaturally long distances and deal great damage with them. Their charge is also most ferocious and causes many enemy lines to simply fold and flee. This is not all solely due to skill and strength, though they are experienced and huge, muscular men. They imbibe a chemical before battle making them seemingly impervious to pain. They will fight to the very end, and are extremely destructive when deployed properly.
