Barbarische Stadt (Seide)

Kavallerie / Geschosskavallerie / (AOR_26_Yuezhi_Archers) Jamsya Yukhuna Duna Purma (Yuezhi Horse Archers) These horsemen make up the backbone of the Yuezhi cavalry, as horse-archers. As such, they are armed with extremely powerful composite bows of the asymmetrical, or "Hunnic" style. Their qualities as archers are offset by their performance in melee, as they are lightly armed and wear little to no armour. Used wisely, these mounted archers are a danger to any ill-prepared enemy. |

Kavallerie / Nahkampfkavallerie / (AOR_5_Germanic_Cavalry) Reidonez (Germanic Cavalry) Reidonez ride small and sometimes poor quality horses, though they are excellent light cavalry. They are useful as scouts as well as skirmishers. However, like many Germanic warriors, they can lack battle-discipline and be overeager to enter battle against worthy opponents. This can lead them to be headstrong and difficult to restrain before a fight, as personal glory gained in battle is always welcome. Honour and standing come from fighting, and sometimes the urge for glory overwhelms their good sense! |

Nahkampfinfanterie / Speerinfanterie / (Cel_Gaizoz_Alje) Gaizoz Alje (Foreign Spears) On the borders between the Celtic and Germanic territories where the cultures of these peoples have become entwined, a fusion of Gallo-Germanic fighting styles has occurred. The Gaizoz Alje (Foreign Spears") are capable warriors who fight with longshields, javelins, and Celtic longspears - the latter being an excellent weapon for dismounting enemy riders. They throw javelins before charging, and can use their spears to absorb the shock of a cavalry rush. Their battle skills are a mix of Celtic and Germanic styles, and they are useful addition to any army." |

Nahkampfinfanterie / Nahkampfinfanterie / (Dac_Carpi_Swordsmen) Carpi Machairaphoroi (Carpi Swordsmen) The Celticisation of western Dacians has led to a bigger number of swordsmen in the Dacian army. These units are skilled and versatile, and the Carpi are one of the most well-known fighting tribes among the Dacians. They are primarily mountaineers living on both sides of the Carpathians, which bear their name. |

Geschossinfanterie / Geschossinfanterie / (Dac_Peucini_Skirmishers) Peukini Akontistai (Peucini Skirmishers) Peucini armies mainly consist of lightly equipped infantry. The vast majority of them are skirmishers, with maces and axes as secondary weapons. They have settled in the delta of the Istros (Danube), on an island called Peuce facing the Pontus Euxinus, hence their name. |

Nahkampfinfanterie / Pikeninfanterie / (Ger_Speudogordoz) Markamannoz Speutagardaz (Markamannoz Pikemen) The Markamannoz are a famous tribe, warlike but organised on the battlefield. Among the elites, they have famous spearmen, the Speutagardaz. They are skilled enough to form impressive shieldwalls with five meter long spears, a rather unusual feature. Speutagardaz use long spears with a short and narrow head. They are well equipped, probably having light axes, reinforced leather armor, and a leather and scale helmet, which is lighter and cheaper than the usual iron helmet, but highly protective. |
