Jízda / Jízdní lučištníci / (AOR_26_Yuezhi_Archers) Jamsya Yukhuna Duna Purma (Yuezhi Horse Archers) These horsemen make up the backbone of the Yuezhi cavalry, as horse-archers. As such, they are armed with extremely powerful composite bows of the asymmetrical, or "Hunnic" style. Their qualities as archers are offset by their performance in melee, as they are lightly armed and wear little to no armour. Used wisely, these mounted archers are a danger to any ill-prepared enemy. |

Jízda / Kontaktní jízda / (AOR_5_Germanic_Cavalry) Reidonez (Germanic Cavalry) Reidonez ride small and sometimes poor quality horses, though they are excellent light cavalry. They are useful as scouts as well as skirmishers. However, like many Germanic warriors, they can lack battle-discipline and be overeager to enter battle against worthy opponents. This can lead them to be headstrong and difficult to restrain before a fight, as personal glory gained in battle is always welcome. Honour and standing come from fighting, and sometimes the urge for glory overwhelms their good sense! |

Pěchota pro boj zblízka / Kontaktní pěchota / (Dac_Carpi_Swordsmen) Carpi Machairaphoroi (Carpi Swordsmen) The Celticisation of western Dacians has led to a bigger number of swordsmen in the Dacian army. These units are skilled and versatile, and the Carpi are one of the most well-known fighting tribes among the Dacians. They are primarily mountaineers living on both sides of the Carpathians, which bear their name. |

In battle they prefer the ambush, and their attack is strong enough to break even experienced formations. Equipped with a short falx, a Pelte shield and helmets of Thracian style, the Dii are good shock troops. |

Pěší střelci / Střelecká pěchota / (Dac_Elite_Skirmishers) Komatai Epilektoi (Elite Dacian Skirmishers) Selected for their better equipment and superior physical abilities, the Komatai Epilektoi are a step beyond the standard Komatai. Equipped with the same studded leather armour worn over trousers and woollen shirts, most of these men also wear a simple iron helmet. They can also afford higher quality shields and better weapons: two heavier, well-made iron throwing spears and a Celtic longsword are fairly standard. With their better equipment, they can stand in a battle line. |

These men are renowned for their ferocity, and all Macedonian expeditions sent against them effectively disappear in the Getic wasteland", Moreover Macedonian kings like Lysimakos knew Getic captivity. Their contact with the Hellenic poleis made them well familiarized with the phalanx formation. These men are equipped with Phrygian helmets, padded leather armour and large oval shields. For weapons, they carry a spear and a sica into battle, similar to most Hellenic phalanx soldiers." |

Pěchota pro boj zblízka / Pěchota s kopími / (Dac_Moesian_Spearmen) Moisoi Doryphoroi (Moesian Spearmen) Moesia is a semi-mountainous, landlocked region. The Moesians are grouped into several tribes and are frequently at war against their neighbors. The choice weapons for these infantrymen are a spear and oval shield. They are sometimes willingly recruited as mercenaries by the Greeks and Macedonians, to avoid their raids on the frontier by denying them their best soldiers. |

Pěší střelci / Střelecká pěchota / (Dac_Peucini_Skirmishers) Peukini Akontistai (Peucini Skirmishers) Peucini armies mainly consist of lightly equipped infantry. They have settled in the delta of the Istros (Danube), on an island called Peuce facing the Pontus Euxinus, hence their name. |
