Hobgoblin Wolf Raiders (Spears)
A pointy stick and a slavering wolf are all a Hobgoblin really needs to rise through the ranks – if the beast doesn’t kill him first!Drawn from the nomadic tribes and isolated warbands that roam the fringes of the Dark Lands, wolf-mounted Hobgoblins are commonly employed by Chaos Dwarf armies as swift-moving scouts and light battle cavalry. Raiders and robbers by disposition, they get lured into service as mercenaries, but are effectively treated no better than unpaid servants by their new Lords. They are, if anything, more skittish and even less reliable than their unmounted counterparts, but this tendency is deemed to be outweighed somewhat by their usefulness in the raiding expeditions that travel into unfamiliar and hostile lands, where their mobility can often provide a stark advantage.
