Marauders of Nurgle (Great Weapons)
With sickly resilience such as this, shield-bearing becomes the least of a Marauder’s concerns. Many Marauders offer sacrifices to the Lord of Decay as precaution against illness, but there are those that completely entrust their souls to His care. When epidemics ravage the northern tribes, some chieftains and shamans decree that their only chance of survival is to devote themselves to the Plague Lord. In return for their lives, they champion Nurgle with sword and flame against rival tribes and the hated realms of the south, the marks of their survival borne by their pallid, pockmarked skin likely to also be branded with His three-circled symbol.

A unit with the [[col:white]]Mark of Nurgle has:
Strengths & Weaknesses
- Armour-Piercing
The damage ofarmour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- Poison Attacks
The [[img:ui/battle ui/ability_icons/wh_main_unit_contact_poison.png]]poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage.
