Foundry

A foundry enables a blacksmith to improve the quality of the weapons they produce. Metal is heated until it reaches melting point, before being poured into a clay mould and left to cool. Once the metal has cooled and hardened, the mould is removed, revealing the final item.

This casting can be done with single piece casts, or if the item is more complicated, made up of several different pieces. This process speeds up the production of weapons as well as maintaining a uniformity in the weapons due to the moulds.
