Bandit Lair
Even bandits require a dwelling where they can rest, eat and plan.A lair is a base for bandits; somewhere they can rest, eat, plan and recruit.
New recruits are vouched for by existing members, usually because they have suffered some sort of misfortune. Many are ex-farmers turned to banditry due to the loss of their homes and livelihoods because of natural disaster and war, but some are deserters.
Though they are criminals in the eyes of the law, it is preferable to starvation, or punishment for something that they are not responsible for.
