Molossian Shieldsworn

Dedicated warriors, fighting in the style of their heroic ancestors, Shieldsworn are drawn from the upper-echelon of the Epirote League's population. Trained from youth to fight in the hoplite phalanx, the Shieldsworn are the bulwark against barbarian invasion from the Illyrian provinces to the north. While they may be less prestigious than the elite companies fielded by other Hellenic regional powers, they can more than hold their own in the heat of battle.
