羅馬小鎮（絲）

小城鎮養育了有野心的男人。

無論羅馬人去哪，他們不僅征服他們所經過的地區，他們也在這些地區定居並建立社區。羅馬人用石頭和磚塊建造持久殖民地。殖民城鎮由小村莊發展而來，其中一些早已存在的，便成為了地方政府和商業中心。根據計劃建造的地方性城鎮或者「城邦」是正方形網格形狀，外圍還有石頭城牆保護。小一點的「鎮子」則不那麼正式，經常在羅馬軍隊的營地外建造起來，為士兵們提供家一般的舒適和快樂。
