However, they do not wear much armour themselves, only a helmet and a leather jacket.

Aorsoi riders are first and foremost horse archers, but on average, Aorsoi tribesmen are somewhat better-equipped than their counterparts from other Sarmatian tribes. Thus, they often wear a measure of simple armour and tend to carry spears in addition to their bows.
