動物飼養員

貿易和戰爭都需要正確的動物。

動物被捕獲，馴服，喂養，然後像商品一樣標價售賣。擁有和飼養外來品種需要花費大量的時間和金錢，也是權貴們的一種追求。戰馬、賽馬、役畜或者外族戰象，都是他們主人顯赫財富的象徵。

希波戰爭之前，馬匹對於東方的軍隊來說是必需的，用來代替輕戰車的作用。古騎士大概能分成兩種：輕型散兵，負責從遠處騷擾敵軍；重裝甲騎兵隊，負責與敵軍的騎兵部隊正面交戰，利用敵人陣型的弱點挫敗敵人。

和馬匹一樣，駱駝、狗、大象也被圈養、訓練用來作戰，為東方的將軍提供了震驚敵人的元素。因為身上的異味能夠嚇跑馬匹，所以駱駝在市場上也有不錯的價格。
