动物育场

贸易和战争都需要使用合适的动物

为了买卖，动物被捕捉、驯化、饲养。拥有并管理异国的品种费时又费力，有钱人才买得起。战马、赛马、牛马抑或是战象，都显示出拥有者的财力。

战马对于希波战争之前的东方军队尤为重要，它们替代了轻装的二轮战车。古代骑兵大致可以分为两种：轻装骑射手—从远距离上骚扰敌人，重骑兵—他们穿着盔甲，被用来对付其他骑兵的部队，或者是包抄，找出敌人阵形的弱点。

马匹、骆驼、大象和狗也被训练来投入战争，它们为东方的将军们提供了惊吓敌人的力量。骆驼很珍贵，因为它们仅凭身上的气味就可以惊吓到敌方的战马！

The man in front appears to have a sword, and the man in back may have a bow. There are always two horses, but the box, its position, the number of spokes, wheel construction, and the number of men (1-3) are highly variable and often not very realistic.
