步兵岗楼

永久性的兵营可以训练更有战斗力，装备更好的征召兵

召集起一支部队需要周密的计划。征召兵经常需要自备武器，比如长矛和盾牌，或者标枪和弓箭。如果没有装备就绪，就需要国家财政拨款，而这就需要时间了，并且最早的将所有人组织起来并武装起来的地方都是在一些暂时的营地里。

They are recruited from the most western provinces of North Africa: lands known for their warriors and their unique fighting style. They are armed with javelins and a sword of North African origin, similar to the Takouba used these days by the Tuareg people. The Maures are protected by a shield made of elephant hide and by a tunic made of animal fur that they use like it was a breastplate.
