Pagus barbarzyńców
Gdy ludzie pracują ramię w ramię, pomnażają wspólne bogactwo.Rzymscy i greccy historycy opisywali plemiona barbarzyńskie jako ludy wędrowne żyjące z polowań, niemające pojęcia o uprawie roli ani architekturze. Nic bardziej mylnego. Archeolodzy odkryli bowiem liczne budowle, które dowodzą, że owi „barbarzyńcy” byli wytrawnymi budowniczymi. Wzniesione przez nich domy i umocnienia zachowały się przez tysiąclecia.
Brochy, odkryte w Szkocji budynki z kamienia, przetrwały mimo niesprzyjającego klimatu i dziś stanowią źródło wiedzy na temat swoich niegdysiejszych mieszkańców.

Piechota do walki w zwarciu / Piechota do walki w zwarciu / (ger_lugii_baltic_clubmen) Perkwunas (Baltic Clubmen) The warriors in this unit are not necessarily poor, but rather choose to fight with the club instead of the spear. Most are armed with a wooden club, but some prefer an axe of the socketed variety. For protection, these warriors only use a lightweight wooden shield. Some have a reinforced metal shield boss and some metal shield rim protection, but most do not. |

Piechota miotająca / Piechota miotająca / (Ger_Lugii_Heavy_Skirmishers) Nakwadaz (Eastern Germanic Medium Skirmishers) These naked spearmen are the Germanic replica of the Gaisates, except that they use more crude weapons, the framea being too expensive and heavy to be carried by a skirmisher. However, they are still heavy skirmishers, relying on their speed to outflank the enemy, before launching their missiles in the hope of causing disarray within the enemy ranks. They fight nude or half-nude to preserve freedom of movement, and keep a framea for close combat if needed. |

Piechota do walki w zwarciu / Piechota z pikami / (Ger_Lugii_Pikemen) Gaizaharjoz (Eastern Germanic Pikemen) Gaizaharjoz are very disciplined warriors who fight in a dense formation. They use a Germanic lance - the Speutan, a deadly and intimidating weapon with a very long spearhead. During their years of constant battle with hostile nations, they've developed new strategies for combat and defense, and learned early on to form an impenetrable burdahagon (shield-wall) to repel their attackers. |
