Villaggio barbarico (tintura porpora)

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria corpo a corpo / (bel_levy_melee_infantry) Batoroi (Belgae Levy Clubmen) Belgic peasants are thrown on the front line with clubs and axes, in order to break the enemy shieldwall, allowing other, better equipped units to exploit the breach. Such tasks require brute force, but also sheer courage, to be able to survive to the first assault, immediately followed by swordsmen and spearmen. |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria con lancia / (bel_levy_spearmen) Bagaudoi (Belgae Levy Spearmen) The Bagaudas are not warriors. Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria corpo a corpo / (bel_medium_axemen) Bogiocingetoi (Belgae Medium Axemen) Axes used by Celtic warriors are a relic of the Halstatt age. By 300 BCE, they have practically disppeared off the battlefield. But in some cases, experienced warriors are needed to perform breakthrough actions or to act as sappers, particularly when the enemy is entrenched. So the Bogiocingetoi, literally puncher-walkers," are axemen well-equipped for such work." |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria corpo a corpo / (bel_naked_swordsmen) Luosusios (Belgae Naked Swordsmen) The Luosusios are demon-men, in fact fanatic warriors, who prepare for the battle with special inhalation or drinks. They traditionally fight naked and heavily tattooed. Their ferocious appearance and demeanor cause fear in the enemy, as Celtic psychological warfare has been integrated as a tactic in its own right. |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria con lancia / (bel_peasants) Atecti (Belgae Peasants) With a wicker shield and a spear, these peasants are useful and cheap to muster. They have few truly military tasks. They act as a rearguard, mostly to protect the baggage train on campaign, and to support the more experienced Bagaudas in a line. But these men are not experienced and have no training, so they are more useful as a local defence militia. |

Cavalleria / Cavalleria corpo a corpo / (Supply_Barbarian) Baggage Train Baggage trains, if attached to an army, grant additional supplies for a limited number of turns, varying for each campaign based on turns per year. A baggage train can supply armies even under harsh weather conditions, and is vital for prolonged military campaigns. |
