Borgo barbarico (seta)

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria corpo a corpo / (AOR_26_Bac_Axemen) Tabargan Suguda (Sogdian Axemen) Often hired to protect merchant caravans along the Silk Road, these soldiers wear native-style dress, and some are equipped with Scythian armour. Fanteria da tiro / Fanteria da tiro / (AOR_26_Bac_Javelinmen) Zubindar-i Suguda (Sogdian Javelinmen) These men risk their lives by closing with the enemy while carrying only the lightest of equipment. Most armies use poorly equipped levies as skirmishers, very often as javelinmen, since these troops require relatively little training and financial investment, relying mostly on widespread natural skills and scant gear. |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria corpo a corpo / (bel_levy_melee_infantry) Batoroi (Belgae Levy Clubmen) Belgic peasants are thrown on the front line with clubs and axes, in order to break the enemy shieldwall, allowing other, better equipped units to exploit the breach. Such tasks require brute force, but also sheer courage, to be able to survive to the first assault, immediately followed by swordsmen and spearmen. |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria con lancia / (bel_levy_spearmen) Bagaudoi (Belgae Levy Spearmen) The Bagaudas are not warriors. They are peasants levied for war and trained for a time with warriors. They are poorely equipped for the most part, relying on their wooden shields for protection, and using a spear for defence and close fighting. |

Fanteria corpo a corpo / Fanteria con lancia / (bel_peasants) Atecti (Belgae Peasants) With a wicker shield and a spear, these peasants are useful and cheap to muster. They have few truly military tasks. They act as a rearguard, mostly to protect the baggage train on campaign, and to support the more experienced Bagaudas in a line. But these men are not experienced and have no training, so they are more useful as a local defence militia. |

Cavalleria / Cavalleria corpo a corpo / (Supply_Barbarian) Baggage Train Baggage trains, if attached to an army, grant additional supplies for a limited number of turns, varying for each campaign based on turns per year. A baggage train can supply armies even under harsh weather conditions, and is vital for prolonged military campaigns. |
