Sparta (Occupied)
Fearsome and unbroken.

Infantería cuerpo a cuerpo / Infantería cuerpo a cuerpo / (bel_levy_melee_infantry) Batoroi (Belgae Levy Clubmen) Belgic peasants are thrown on the front line with clubs and axes, in order to break the enemy shieldwall, allowing other, better equipped units to exploit the breach. Such tasks require brute force, but also sheer courage, to be able to survive to the first assault, immediately followed by swordsmen and spearmen. |

Infantería cuerpo a cuerpo / Infantería con lanza / (bel_levy_spearmen) Bagaudoi (Belgae Levy Spearmen) The Bagaudas are not warriors. Infantería cuerpo a cuerpo / Infantería con lanza / (bel_peasants) Atecti (Belgae Peasants) With a wicker shield and a spear, these peasants are useful and cheap to muster. They have few truly military tasks. They act as a rearguard, mostly to protect the baggage train on campaign, and to support the more experienced Bagaudas in a line. But these men are not experienced and have no training, so they are more useful as a local defence militia. |
