Gracias a la práctica tribal de realizar ofrendas votivas a los dioses de los ríos y otras vías acuíferas, se han descubierto muchos artefactos de bronce en el fondo de los lagos y ríos de toda Europa. El río Támesis, en Londres, Inglaterra, debe haber sido de gran importancia para las tribus locales, pues se han extraído gran cantidad de obras de bronce de su lecho con el paso de los años. El Casco de Waterloo, una pieza ceremonial con dos cuernos, fue descubierto en 1868 y los escudos de Battersea y Wandsworth también se encontraron en el río. Ahora pueden verse en el Museo Británico. Al igual que el casco, se piensa que el Escudo de Battersea era un artículo ceremonial, ya que no presenta daños y no hay indicios de que estuviera incorporado a una base de madera, lo que le hubiera proporcionado la fuerza necesaria para poder ser utilizado en batalla.

They are famous for their use of sheering curved swords that can cause an opponent terrible gashes, and are known to use the skulls of their enemies as drinking cups. Like the Solduros of the Gauls, in the East the Scordisci have the Cordinau Orca (Kor-dee-now Urk-ah; Battle Boars), the guardians of their chief, and fearsome, strong warriors. The Scordisci are a rather extroverted Celtic people; they are so cosmopolitan that their enemies think them Thracians or Illyrians.

The possession of armour or iron weapons is unusual among the tribes who inhabit this area, and in this regard the Karotovas are unique. They carry well-made unique slashing swords, and can hit with a powerful - albeit disorderly - charge. As they are somewhat undisciplined, they often disregard notions of prudence and can charge at their own will.

They are more sturdy than ordinary peasant levies, and they usually fight at the forefont before the main clash, softening the enemy ranks.

They are brave and well-equipped, but not heavily armoured, because agility is the key of their tactics. They march on the wings of the main battleline, ready to take quick flanking manoeuvers, ambushes, and other tactical moves.

They are battle-hardened and experienced warriors, and carry two heavy javelins and a longsword.

It is designed, like a heavy pilum, to pierce any shield or armour, as well as injuring or killing any enemy fighters counterattacking the light forward troops.

7	300	Infantería cuerpo a cuerpo / Infantería con pica / (cel_tyl_medium_spearmen) Cingetes (Professional Spearmen) These professional spearmen, literally "those who march together," are the backbone of the Celtic infantry line. Well-disciplined and well-equipped as warriors, they use a long lancia (three meter-long spear), and a longsword as a melee weapon. They wear a helmet but no armour, or perhaps an affordable leather jacket under their tunic.

They are posted to the rear of the army, and then moved to the forefront during the "tumultus gallicus" which precedes the assault.
