Royal Stables

轻骑兵在东方的国家和草原民族中极其常见。从希腊轻装甲骑兵、西徐亚人到萨卡弓骑兵的所有轻骑兵，速度就是他们的防御手段。他们依赖于他们坐骑的机动力和耐力，这些坐骑主要是波斯马，也有更小但更灵活的亚美尼亚品种，当然也包括独峰驼和双峰驼。他们常被委以巡逻贸易路线和保护无人看守的边境的任务，战时也会充当侦察兵和包抄侧翼的部队，这些部队很有价值。

战斗中轻骑兵使用投枪和弓箭来骚扰敌人，在遇见棘手的敌人时也能够迅速撤退。当数量足够多时，轻骑兵也可以追踪敌人散兵，不过只能在敌人部队已经溃散以后为了将他们赶出战场并防止他们重新集结时才会进行近身搏斗
