Hold the line with the persian hoplites , protect them with couple units of foot archers. combine both horse archers and light cavalry for harassing and flanking enemy. Save your elite catprachts and elephants to finish the enemy with decisive charge.
Dont forget good positioning of your artillery can screen some of the enemy elite units.
