Holkans are native American mercenaries who have thrown their lot in with the Mayan people. Holkans primarily fight as archers armed with a bow but if pressed, can fight back in melee with their Macana clubs. As Holkans are mercenaries, their courage may not match that of other troops, a wise general would try to keep them from being panicked.
霍爾坎步兵最初為美洲僱傭部隊，後進入瑪雅軍中效力。他們主要用弓箭遠程攢射，但一旦接敵，亦可使用瑪卡納短棍近戰廝殺。作為雇傭部隊，他們在士氣上無法與其他部隊相媲美，明智將領應當對他們妥善部署，以防過早崩潰。
