Spice Route Caravan Post

To increase profits, a trader must travel and seek out customers. A caravan post facilitates the travel of caravans along the trade route.

Spices are hard wearing and do not spoil easily, but can lose taste and colour, so they are packed as airtight as possible to preserve quality. Once packed, the containers are loaded onto pack animals and a route is planned.

On return, any unsold spices are checked and added to the post’s inventory and a greater quantity of the most popular spices loaded onto the next caravan.
