Britannia's best riders, whose charge is legendary.

The Celtic people believed that many supernatural creatures and spirits roamed the world around them, and that people could earn their favour or incur their wrath through their actions. Celtic hunters never dared to hunt without their deities' blessings, offering payment of domestic animals and heeding natural portents and signs. Oft-times, the most adept hunters were also the best riders; they aspired to be as powerful and fearsome as the Wild Hunt, the gods' sky-borne hunting party of legend. In battle, they saw the enemy as nothing more than prey to be chased and captured or killed. As relentless as bloodhounds and as fast as the whistling wind, they never gave up the Hunt unless death intervened.
