K'daai Fireborn
The "Scions of Fire" are mighty Daemonic fire-elementals trapped by sorcery and science within the Chaos Dwarfs' hulking, armoured creations.The desires of Chaos Dwarf Sorcerers and Daemonsmiths are for power and domination, and for weapons and soldiers that will make them invincible – and it is from this desire that the K'daai Zharr; the "Scions of Fire," were born. Rather than summon uncontrollable Daemons or parley bargains with the Greater Daemons of Chaos, with the K'daai they have sought to do something more, to create a race, half-Daemon essence and half-raging fire, drawn from the magma of the deep earth and birthed in the boiling blood of Hashut's burning sacrifices, given form and contained within an armoured framework of articulated iron and rune-stamped bronze.

Once the Daemon's courage has failed them, they will fall back through the portal to the Chaos Realm whence they belong.

This unit inflicts flaming attacks. Units hit by flaming attacks heal at half the usual rate whilst 'on fire’ and sustain additional damage if vulnerable to fire.
