

Lion Chariots of Chrace
These lion-pulled chariots do not pick at the enemy, but charge headlong into the fray brandishing fang, claw and axe.The ranks of the White Lions, the personal guard of the Phoenix King, are made up of warriors who have not only displayed considerable valour and skill upon the battlefield, but have also completed the traditional rite of a Chracian warrior to hunt and kill a white lion. Sometimes such hunts lead to the discovery of cubs which, with expert care, can be raised to form a close bond with the Chracian hunters that foster them and later serve in Ulthuan’s armies. Those able to form such bonds inevitably end up riding to battle upon white-timbered chariots drawn by a pair of the snarling beasts, whose savage killing power is belied by their appearance of feline grace and elegantly plaited manes. The Lion Chariots of Chrace have a well-deserved reputation as the bane of even the most determined shield wall.

Armoured units can block damage from any source apart fromArmour-Piercing damage.
- Armour-Piercing
The damage ofarmour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- Anti-Infantry
Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be adamage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
- Lion Pelt
The thick pelt of the White Lions provides protection against regular and magical missile attacks.
