Ariel
The magical force of nature flows through the Queen of Athel Loren as if she were Isha herself.Before the Elves embraced Athel Loren as their home, Ariel was foremost among the Elven magi living on the forest’s fringes. It was she who first spoke through the art of tree-singing, paving the way for the complex alliance with the powerful forest-spirits. In the wake of the devastating Winter of Woe, when the forest had barely survived attacks from both Dwarfs and Greenskins, Ariel acquired the aspects of Isha, the Goddess of Nature, through the strange magic of the Oak of Ages. Together with Orion, she presides over Athel Loren, weaving enchantments to mislead intruders or lure them to their doom, and like Orion, Ariel’s immortality is linked to the seasons – she hibernates each midwinter to emerge the following year.
