Yellow Dragons

Elite infantry who cross all terrain types with ease, only to furiously attack enemy infantry with their axes.

Enemy infantry fall easily before the Yellow Dragons’ attacks; their fu axes rend flesh with the savagery of a dragon’s fangs, and retaliatory blows bounce off their shields as water from oil.

The Yellow Dragons’ empathy and understanding of the land is such that it offers as little resistance to their movements as air, and they cross all terrain types effortlessly and quickly.

With this combination of mobility and strength, the Yellow Dragons move quickly through the battle, dispatching the foes and allies of chaos.

Unit Abilities

  • Caltrops
    Simple nut husks, once trodden upon, cause extreme pain and slow movement.
  • Miasma
    The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman.
  • Circle
    The unit forms into a tight circle, presenting a defensive front from any angle.
  • Loose
    The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them.
  • Turtle
    The unit presents its shields around and above, severely limiting its movement but making it almost impenetrable to missile attack.

    Can hide in forests.
  • IGNORE GROUND TYPE
    Speed penalties caused by the terrain are ignored by this unit.

    This unit excels at charging enemy frontlines, slaying all in their path.

    These troops carry shields to protect them from incoming missiles, but offer little defence against artillery.
  • Good against shields
    This unit causes extra damage against shielded enemies.
