Yellow Turban Warriors
These former bandits obey a greater law and lend their sabres and hard-fought experience to the Yellow Turban cause.Corrupt warlords label them outlaws, but there is a greater justice than man’s law and the sympathies of these bandits lie with China’s poor.
Long years evading and skirmishing with the authorities has made warriors of them, and they march into battle clad in light leather armour, shield in one hand and sabre in the other, to strike at the enemy’s flanks.
Many have been forced into banditry from the greed of landlords, but with the approach of the Yellow Sky, they see a chance for a better future.

Caltrops
Simple nut husks, once trodden upon, cause extreme pain and slow movement. -
Smoke Screen
Thick plumes of smoke obscure line of sight, making units seem temporarily invisible. -
Miasma
The dense and tough undergrowth that plagues the jungles of the South is a hindrance to all those who try to penetrate into the heartlands of the Nanman. -
Loose
The unit spreads apart, making it more difficult for arrows to hit them. -
Shield Wall
The unit presents a wall of shields to the enemy - an offensive formation best used to push forward under arrow fire. However the formation cannot be maintained in melee combat.
