波斯式突袭二桡舰 - Teceitos

第一次将撞角装于舰上是在约公元前850年。战船和海军战术从此有了变化。船不再是步兵接舷白刃的平台；船自己变成了武器。当环境改变后，桨帆船也开始改变。高速撞击可以将敌舰凿沉，因此就需要更轻便更敏捷的船只。对速度的要求明显就是对桨桡的要求，只有一列桨桡的的快船则只能长得愚蠢而不切实际。于是，将另一列桨桡放在第一列之上，就成了解决的办法，但这一组必须稍稍偏移，以给划桨手腾出位置。这种双桡舰并不比之前的船更长，但划桨手的数量却翻了一倍。它们快速，易于操控，并可容纳额外的战斗小队。一些国家还为他们的船员配备火盂：这些装满油和沥青的陶罐将被投向敌舰，以期使其着火——这个愿望并非不可实现

(Teceitos)
凯尔特战士就是为了攻坚开路，即使面对的是重装部队。他们有两种斧子：通常使用单手斧，但双手斧也会用。相对于剑来说，斧子造价低廉，在对抗链甲时更有效，即使只是砸击也能对铠甲之下的骨骼、器官造成伤害。他们也能够将盾兵推出战场，或者击穿他们。和其他凯尔特战士一样，轻装战士一手持斧一手使用盾牌防御。在凯尔特文化的很长时期中，可能要追溯到石器时代，就有对斧子和锤子的崇拜。这两种都是强有力的武器，尤其是斧子，经常会用作陪葬品。甚至在硬币上也会刻画以庆祝胜利，比如公元前58到公元前50年的高卢战争
