Illyro-Italian Infantry Cohort
Imitation legionaries that are nonetheless reliable in battle as their Roman counterparts.This imitation legionary cohort is the result of years of experience on the battlefields of the Italian peninsula and owes it’s training and institutional experience to former Albani, Daorsi, and Parthini mercenaries who began emulating Roman armament and tactics. This unit is organized and outfitted in the style of the Roman maniple, with an eye towards mobility and rapid deployment. While the weapons and armor are inferior to their Italian counterparts, these shock units are more than capable of breaking enemy lines.
