Rhodos was one of the most storied states and greatest mercantile powers in the Hellenistic world and produced the finest slingers of the Hellenic World. These men supported the armies of the greatest Greek generals and their feats on the field of battle are legendary. Though their padded linen cuirasses are capable of shrugging of blows from most weapons they should be kept out of the melee.
