Citizen cavalry of this sort has been seen at the Daphne parade and in this case, is probably just from Antioch and not recruited from all of the coastal cities. The Politikoi are not organised into regiments; instead, they are a collection of separate squadrons, with each squadron having its own distinctive dress and equipment.
