Ways of Horus

Horus, the Egyptian God of Hunting and War, was a powerful deity whose eyes were said to be the Sun and the Moon, watching over the people of Egypt. His weapon was a spear, which was seen as a symbol of security and protection. The dead were buried with replicas of Horus’ spear as a means of protection on their journey to the afterlife. He was also synonymous with the Pharaohs, who were considered to be Horus incarnate.
