Honouring the Waters

We honour the spirits of the water as providers of life and the link between the physical realm and the Otherworld. Many of these water bodies are taken care of by their own deities. We venerate water; lakes, rivers and springs receive regularly our special offerings of metalwork, wooden objects and animals. We also construct holy wells in various locations, which we use as places of pilgrimage and ritual.
