Hording Tactics

Swift, unexpected and deadly; these are the ways of the horde.

The Huns were famed for their horsemen, a formidable fighting force who struck fear into the hearts of those unlucky enough to face them in battle. Their offensive tactics were simple: strike quickly and in large numbers. They preferred to take the enemy by surprise, often enveloping their flanks and only ever engaging in hand-to-hand combat once their enemy was in full retreat. The Huns preferred method of attack was from a distance with their powerful reinforced bows, allowing them to inflict maximum damage with minimal casualties. After all, why risk unnecessary deaths for some foreign concept of 'glory'?
